UPDATE!!!
02-11-2005 UPDATE
Screenshots of my additions: Outside view of the flagroom Close-up of the flagroom entrance View from a corner of the flagroom Another view from a different corner Overview of the map View from Hammer Here you can grab ff_community_a002.zip I added an info.txt file in my ff_community_a002.zip archive, this is what's in it: Code:
PLEASE USE THIS FILE TO KEEP TRACK OF THE PROGRESS. UPDATE IT AND PACK IT WITH YOUR RELEASE. THANKS _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ ff_community_a001 :: xx-xx-xxxx :: sugii - info here ff_community_a002 :: 01-11-2005 :: Sh4x - created the basic flagroom layout with simple texturing and a couple of lights to set the mood - created a wannabe elevator to get down to the lower level that has yet to be created. (it's just a placeholder for now really) I have an idea for the elevator but I wanna wait until more of the map is done to implement it. - created a visgroup containing half of a temporary 3dskybox with an info_player_start, a light_env and a sun to be able to compile. ff_community_a003 :: xx-xx-xxxx :: next_guy_here - What have you done. |

I think the best way to proceed would be to let everyone add their part without modifying the other's. Once the map geometry is near completion then we could start with modifying ppl's work to make it look better as a whole. But like... I don't think it would be a nice idea to go and modify what I did just yet. Better build the flagroom, ramproom, or entrance you know... to actually have a full map someday. And sugii I can do it for you buddy, just the textures tho. |

Just curious Sobe, how much bandwidth does your site have? I can see this map being down/uploaded a lot in the future.

Can we get a sticky here. It's a community matter. It needs to be at the top to grow interest so that more ppl jump in the wagon.

We need the original post editted to include a list of all the people signed up to work on it. This way, we don't have two people working at once.
1. Completed 10/31/05 - Sugii 2. Completed 11/02/05 - Sh4x 3. Next_person_here 4. Next_person_here 5. xxxxx 6. xxxxx Etc etc. |
