Things may be harder for Paris in prision than the next person, but one thing you're forgetting is that she's still very stupid, and this teaches her the wrong thing.

Her enviornment taught her that she can cry and get what she wants. So now she' in prison, doesn't want to be there so she cries and gets out. The world is bending over for her. If I cried in prison I'd get raped. If she does it, they release her early.

Bullshit. I don't care how bad she says it was, or how bad it really was. In the real world stuff like that is not supposed to happen. The sentence was shortened for her, that's all the treatment she gets as far as I'm concerned. It's not cruel and unusual punishment to be locked in a cell for breaking the law. It's not immoral, it's not mean it's fair and fucking balanced.

I am willing to let Paris stay at my house..............

for the designated punishment time. I need allot of housework done and plus my son is almost 14 so she could break him in properly. Can u imagine how much your personal stock would go up in school if you slept with paris hilton and you are 14??? I am guessing allot. Plues it would be good to get the first crush and heartache out of the way and onto others.

I hope on the way back to court she gets hammered drunk, steals the judges car and kills the sheriff who let her out. That would please me greatly.

Not sure how true this is but read this over in the comments at fark about the article...

"Watched over my lunch and a party van made a delivery at her home. News guys said it was rumored that she had a large party planned for tonight. Hope the judge gets wind of that.

I do not know about the rest of these guys, but personally, I like to see the bitch rot in jail is all. She is a celebrity because she... shows up at places a lot? Iunno, she just seems like a vapid, selfish bitch.

Because it's nice to know that just because a person has a lot of money and is famous it doesn't put them above the law.

I'm sure some people care because they like to follow celebrity lives for whatever reason. But I think most people (myself included) are sick and tired of celebrities skating the law and getting out of jail time that any Joe Schmo wouldn't. We just want to see justice actually served once in a while.

Next stop: politicians and multi billion dollar business CEOs

You want justice served, but probably more so for people who you feel deserve it because they're rich or famous. Yes? Is 45 days in jail customary for driving with a suspended license while injuring or damaging nobody and nothing? No.

So perhaps the judge was wrong in the initial sentence, but right to have it enforced.

I have seen people do a lot worse and get off without having to do ANY jail time.

I think the sentence was rather rough, but I think she was smart in not pulling out the punches to get out of it. I think she recognized that there are kids looking to her to see what she would do, and she wanted to do the right thing. Plus those that would like to push her down because of their jelousy would rage over her getting off scott free. So she did what she was told to do and went to jail.

Then someone says you can get out.. then someone says you have to go back.

THAT is EFFED UP in my book!!!!!!!

No, I don't give a rat's ass what Paris Hilton does, and I don't care what happens to her good or bad *edit:(Other than the this jail thing obviously). She broke the law and therefore deserves to stay in jail for whatever sentence she got. *edit: It doesn't bother me that she has money or that she leads the lifestyle that she does, it bothers me that people in our society are above the law, it isn't right.

Wouldn't know. Though if I recall correctly this is not the first time she got hit with a DUI. I could be wrong because I usually tune out when my local news starts going into details. I don't care what her sentence is, and I can't say whether or not it was just because I don't follow stuff like that. Fact is that if she is to serve 45 days because the judge said so, then she should like everybody else has to. Nobody else is let out for crying... or even attempting suicide. Sometimes you got made an example of because people are tired of the same old shit. Sucks but its true.

Doing the right thing includes refusing to eat and whining the whole time? Doing what she was told to do would have been sitting in jail and not bitching about it, instead of getting preferential treatment.

Lets not forget the reason why her license was suspended to begin with was due to a DUI. Let's add to that the fact that she got caught not once but twice after.

So basically if I make enough money and cry enough I can get out of doing jail time also?
