I 2nd that....however, DN3D was good without a compelling storyline. I think there's a mix of elements that can come together in different ways and still create a good game.

Great storyline my ass. It was pretty and sounded nice, that's all it had going for it. Throwaway plot, useless story, decent game.

Seriously though, Deus Ex is a master piece. Too bad the technology is dated, but in terms of gameplay it easily competes with the likes of HL2.
