I'd rather he fumble with his words then it look like someone else is really running the country through him via a teleprompter. *shrug* It just seems that whenever Obama has a fault democrats immediately try to redirect to Bush. Same thing happened when he did things to tank the economy even worse, the loss of jobs, pushing an agenda most Americans do not want (which is ironically what the same people claimed about Bush). I think Obama would sum up his entire presidency as: Bush did this to me, I could have been a great president if it hadn't been for him. It's clear that the electorate is tired of hearing it... I'm just hoping the liberals continue to delude themselves and keep saying that isn't the case.

That whole blame thing has merit most of the time. We have had eight years of failed presidency, so it's only obvious people are going to be pissed off about it, and it's only obvious a lot of the problems of the past presidency will linger on into the next. Anyone who thinks we can just 'forget' those eight years of absolute failure is the only one persisting in delusion. Your side of the playground (I'll use that word because it accurately sums up how stupid politics is today) is just as worse when it comes to baselessly attacking people. You guys were blaming Clinton left and right whenever Bush made a mistake. Bush fucked up because Clinton got a blowjob! Oh noes. You people will probably blame Obama when the next President takes office. Lolzhypocrisy. |

I'm going to criticize his use of a teleprompter. I'm also going to criticize the way he speaks without a teleprompter. You guys are a joke.

He's speaking ability is one action. And not a show stopper, again - it's just kind funny. ESPECIALLY when it's in a class room. His policies are the rest. Even now he's saying hey I think I might have been fucking up. No shit? And a president should not even have that kind of power to spend a decent percentage of our entire GDP with the swipe of a pen.
But hey at least he's got some balls to admit mistakes. One thing that pisses me off about modern presidents is their inability to admit mistakes and press on. Same with congress. They do however like to do it after they are gone and make money talking about it.

Yeah, that's generally true within the West, but I find it especially perverse here, as does everyone else.

I would say its worse in Italy to pick one. France is pretty fucked up. So is Britain. Come to think of it Israel is pretty barked. So is Egypt. Some people were hung today in Iran over politics. In the east, the Philippines has some nasty political shit going on, some nasty fallout from the Tamil wars in Indonesia (political), Korea is pretty lost - been firing mortars into the ocean this week. Then there is France... Nigeria... Argentina... fuck it's just too much.

I'm not talking about the corruptness of government, but rather the farcicality of politics, which I find to be especially perverse here (and the West generally), evidence by this thread. There's nothing farcical about being hung. These are people facing very serious issues. That's why it's completely bemusing that people can post in, much less create, a thread like this with a straight face.

Oh come on uBeR, these are the heavyweight political issues of our age! And if there's nothing going wrong, find away to mindlessly insult the opposite side of the arbitrary label you give yourself! YARRR ITS POLITICS!!!

Yet teleprompters isn't funny. After the state of the socialist labor union speech I was spinning the political dial to see what the lib radio vs the conservative radio was saying. Yes you can actually find liberal radio on satellite. One show host started each segment with this tag line..... "teleprompter free entertainment." lol. Where free speech is allowed you get this farcical stuff. I guess freedom really isn't free. You get it even in the East. Although free speech is RARE there. So then you get the socialist liberals in control fighting among their propaganda machines which sounds just as goofy. India.... politics is like a soap opera there.

Actually, you guys should go watch the question and answer President Obama had with House Republicans, where he single-handedly destroys just about everything the Republicans try to throw at him, all without a teleprompter. (That's why FOX cut coverage of the rare event early.) I found it pretty humorous. Since I know this kind of stuff is so important to you guys, go look at it.

The website Obama had created to track this says he spend $57,864,901,449 to create 599,108 jobs, which is an average cost of $96585 per job. The fact is he didn't create 2 million jobs, and the temporary jobs he supposedly did create cost $100k a piece. His final answer to across the board tax cuts: No. People who make more money then *I* feel is appropriate and want to spend that money on goods and services that create jobs should not be allowed to do that. The jobs, services, and products that people who have a money to buy them should absolutely not have that money to buy those services or those products. The government should take that money from them, say $96,585 a person, and make one job somewhere. Wonder how many jobs could be created if they were allowed to personally spend that $100k on things like hair cuts, food, clothing, gas, car repairs, cleaning services, etc, etc etc. More then one I presume. He answered the question on tax cuts. He said he's already cut taxes: "A third of them were tax cuts, and they weren't -- when you say they were 'boutique' tax cuts, Mike, 95 percent of working Americans got tax cuts, small businesses got tax cuts, large businesses got help in terms of their depreciation schedules. I mean, it was a pretty conventional list of tax cuts."
The Congressman repeats the question again (not because President Obama asked or because he didn't answer it), and Obama again responds: "Here's what I'm going to do, Mike. What I'm going to do is I'm going to take a look at what you guys are proposing. And the reason I say this, before you say, "Okay," I think is important to know -- what you may consider across-the-board tax cuts could be, for example, greater tax cuts for people who are making a billion dollars. I may not agree to a tax cut for Warren Buffet. You may be calling for an across-the-board tax cut for the banking industry right now. I may not agree to that. "So I think that we've got to look at what specific proposals you're putting forward, and -- this is the last point I'll make -- if you're calling for just across-the-board tax cuts, and then on the other hand saying that we're somehow going to balance our budget, I'm going to want to take a look at your math and see how that works, because the issue of deficit and debt is another area where there has been a tendency for some inconsistent statements. How's that? All right?" Of course you won't watch the video though (or even be honest about the text), and I don't expect anyone else will.
