When the conc effect happens, it appears to suck in a bit of the worlds vision, so to speak. What happens when two concs go near eachother?

Does it make one big sucky thing? Or does one conc suck the vision thing of the other one inside it, if you see what i mean

i think what everyone has to remember is it's not always about the eye candy of games but how it actually plays and feels,
as far as the look of this MOD goes it Looks fantastic some of the moans about dont like the flames etc etc is people picking at every little thing i feel
i mean when you actually play are you going to stop stand around and admire the flames?
if everyone was to pick at every little detail i dont think you would ever get a game finished!
well done to the DEV team and all envolved in trying to get this mod finished

hmm does the conc completely screws with the persons F.O.V? I would find it hard for scouts/medics to conc jump and there vision is fucked.

is the double-vision looking thing in this picture an effect of the player being conced?

not the person who throws the conc, i mean the person who's hit by the concussion blast.

I love the Sniper line, since it makes you easier to spot maybe snipers will have to use more tactics than point and shoot... and you know maybe hide and time shots opposed to playing against a team thats 4 snipers 1 engy and 1 medic

Everything looks rather nice, i agree with whoever said some of the poses look a bit weird but im hoping this is just beacuse the screenies were taken at strange times in the player animations. About the dead spy? screeny, does this mean the feign issue was solved (did i miss the thead saying it was?). Also make your first external beta tester write a post or journal about his first FF experience, as a long time TFC player many of us would value his first impressions.

i think that might be the scouts "special ability" - a dodge of some kind, cus the same thing is in this picture

I am guessing the conc effect will have the ability to be disabled. And if concing is as it is in TFC, I will be turning it off for majority of my playing time because I don't want to see twenty-ten warp effects whilst concing But during the CTF stages I would most probably turn it back on.

Why would they allow that? Standardisation is a pretty important thing, unless you want a graphical-tweaking situation akin to that of the Quake 3 scene.

I love the dark look, should of gone with a moodier light inside, to bright. I e darkish blue light in blue base and darkish red in red base.

and i really love the ac.

altho why is the spy so liquid-ish?

The conc effect you guys are seeing is the distortion brief caused in worldspace by the grenade going off, it's not a vision effect from being concussed. It's a replacement for tfc's expanding white ring and is no more invasive than that ever was.

increase the alpha on the snipers lazer... its going to spell bad news when there are 4+ snipers in one yard.
