Just to throw out a few. It would be easier just to pick one of these once at a stalemate with your girlfriend. A word to the wise however. Since she is the one who is actually going to have this miracle of life showed out of her twat using her stomach and vaginal muscles that she might have the final say on it. Just a thought. To watch the birthing process is like watching something from the movie Aliens but with more blood and goo.

When picking a name, you need to be sure that they

A) wont be picked on due to their name being closely related to another shameful word.
B) dont have a name that will be too difficult for others to read. Nothing is more frustrating for a kid than having to correct teachers and others each time their name is mispronounced.

That said, here is my thoughts:

Alina/Alyna (ah-lee-nah)
Alina is great. It is pretty and is easy to recognize the pronunciation.
Alyna is bad. Technically this would be pronounced A-lin-uh rather than A-leen-uh. She would go through life correcting everyone trying to pronounce her name.

Ariana (are-E-ah-na)
Um no. Reading that out loud... Ariana is too close to Areola. Too much possible teasing could happen if any snot nosed punk kid makes this connection.

Having to correct people your entire life does suck. I'm Italian, so I constantly have to correct people when they try to pronounce my last name.

So Kieran something it is! We're stuck on a middle name now though lol. It was gonna be Alexander (after me), but my sister gave her son Alexander and that would just be weird so we're looking at probably something like

Kieran Rayne Laswell
Kieran Carter Laswell

or something else...not sure what yet as we just found out today.
