Using Babelfish, as long as the medic can see someone, they can heal them.
There'll be a new entity for randomizing areas that players have to take control of in territorial control maps. Anyway, looks like it's not the Fortress we're used to. Now, what was that about accepting change, FF Elitists? |

I like this news. The bigger the gap between TF2 and FF, the better.
This actually makes me more interested in how TF2 will play, rather than feeling like it'll be the red headed step child of FF. edit: some guy translated it all http://www.halflife2.net/forums/show...7&postcount=16 Last edited by kam; 03-21-2007 at 03:24 AM. |

LOL .. forcing people to use skill with their primary weapons instead of running down broadway hitting the nade button as fast as possible. HAHAHAHAH!
Doesn't bother me a bit. Secondaries are still in. Remember the Video .. a soldier jumped from bat to bat on 2fort. All is not lost. Different melee weapons for all classes ... omg how freakin cool is that ! |

what i don't understand is that frag grenades were removed to deunify the classes, yet half of them still have shotguns?

I agree, the bigger the difference between FF and TF2 the more we have to look forward to in both games rather than just 2 identical games.

I'm welcoming the changes. Hopefully it'll weed out all the elitists and the leagues in TF2 won't be ridden with stupid gameplay rules right off the bat. |

Sounds quite fun to me. I like how people take random ideas such as invulnerability, then say its bad by using it in a TFC scenario. Im sure there will be other factors that would make invulnerability not as effective
All im really after is an FPS which isnt the same as the rest. x years ago TFC gave me that. Now whether FF does, or TF2 does, i dont really mind. That said, i would really like to see FF do well because ive followed it for so long. But it sounds like TF2 is going to be very different to TFC. Which means in a way that both can be successful |
