Although he asked in a non-polite manner, I don't think he was implying its a given right. Be nice to the new comers. We are all equally upset over the lack of updates and rightfully upset too! We all have been visiting this stagnant site with no updates for 3+ months. Besides, thats what this thread is for.

not true. im not upset about the lack of updates at all. sure id like to see some updates, but i am faithful that the are working hard and that it will all be worth the wait.

Like you said. It's the bitch thread, everyone is impatient here and wants to just express how they feel... since no one else knows or feels the same way.

I'm not new, just haven't bothered becoming a part of the forum community and posting a lot. I've been around since the beginning, reading every tiny scrap of info and joining at some point to post something.

It would be nice to just know that the devs are alive and well. I don't want them to hold back from saying "Hi, I'm doing the same thing I've been doing every night, nothing has changed" because that's feedback and feedback is good. Holding out for so many months and then releasing some big update or even the actual game is a crappy way of going about it. No one would be complaining if we were to get a full release though >_>

I think it's also quite okay to say that the past 4 months could have warranted an update. I support the devs 110%, but I just don't believe anyone who is saying they don't want an update.

actually, if the devs ONLY release an update after 4 months there will be a riot on the forums. because everyone has it in their head now that they are releasing it as the next media update, and if they dont people are going to get angry at the devs for handling communication with the community totally wrong.

good way of communicating: although we want to release by holidays, most likely our next media update will not be a release unfortunatly.

bad way of communication: we are hoping to release by the holidays, and figured we should release after a media release such as Dustbowl Valley.

and 4 months later if they are still shooting for a game release then change their minds and go with a Media update there will be a riot.

You can not believe me all you want, but all the dev journals and forum posting by beta testers are beyond what I need. Who needs pictures or videos, we'll be playing it soon enough

I agree really. I dont care about updates. all updates, screenies, videos etc do, is make me want to play the game more, when i obviously cant. So as far as Im concerned, the less updates the better ! Maybe I should start a "Bitch about not updating" thread.
