Well shit, maybe I'm the exception to the rule then, but if I'm calling for a medic I'm LOW ON HEALTH and there is a medic somewhere on our team. Sorry to distract you guys from your conc-jumping, christ.

Oh I don't know, I think the FF ones are pretty good, though I still miss the frantic "MEDIC!!!" from TFC.

Not really, I mean most med's have the attitude of not wanting to heal...but I play O (med generally though I do switch it up a bit) and if I see a player needs help I'll take time to help them out...not everyone does I know. That's part of the reason the medic is being given tossable medipacks as a secondary attack now. To encourage healing on the move...hell you can call for a med b/c your infected and the med can say "Medpack tossed at ___location come get it." Then it's on you to run there and grab it, but it's a step...In fact I think I'll make a bind that says just that for when this goes public!

Being a dedicated healer becomes boring very fast (See the TF2 Medic). It's nice to be able to actually help by healing and capturing the flag. It makes the Medic much more efficient than just sitting around at D and healing whomever gets scratched or being blown away while trying to heal some guy on O.

If I have a conc primed and someone calls me, I'll toss it to the side and help em out. But only if they call me. Med has typically been an O class in TFC and not as helpful at times on defense as they could be. But I'll help anyone that calls me...even enemy spys.

You don't have time to look around at everyone's health and see if they need you if you're trying to push on offense. Call me...and I will come.

That's actually a good point.. maybe a medic should be able to see a teammate's health status more prominently on the hud (bigger text size or something - possibly even a health status bar floating above the other models)? It'd be helpful to medics who are interested in well, being medics, and it'd visually reinforce (part of) the role of the FF medic.

Still a lot of stuff to hash out. Things have been tested and needed tweeking so they have to be changed and tested again. I would say in no more then 2 weeks but:

1) I'm not a dev
2) Shit could pop up that needs to be tweeked again and it could potentially take longer or shorter.

I remember how in TFC, any medic would help you by healing you. Hell, that was my main objective when I played medic: to support your players by healing them. That's how it's supposed to be. Unfortunately, more people forget in FF that a medic's primary objective is to support and heal your folks. Now almost all of them are on offense by concing and ignore your cries of help. That's what the scout is for...

Actually I get healed quite often in enemy base by friendlies even in disguise as long as no enemies are around in that situation.
