[QUOTE=Jiggles]I think that playing 3 maps is less friendly b/c the 3rd map almost always favors one clan - not a "neutral" tiebreaker.[QUOTE]
its fairer because 1 team picks a map from oppositions list of maps, other team does the same, and the 3rd is a map supplied by the league which 9/10 is a new/unplayedish map. i.e, the clan that pracs gets rewarded with an advantage |

Another thing I like about adding scores is that clans can't really "give up" a round - thinking "oh well, we'll get them next round!" |

yeh, our scoring prevents giving up as well though, awarding points on a per map basis as well as a match basis. like, winning a map by will get you a point, winning it by double their score will get you a bonus point and playing the map with a full roster will get you a point. so even when a team has lost a map (100-60 with 5 mins to go), its almost like a second match starts because now you dont want them to get the bonus point
plus, aus only play 1 match a week lolz, so its a weekly event and the 1.5 hr sacrifice isnt too bad ~ |

Yeah some do, but it's better if they give up then, cuz you don't have to play another round with the jerks
Plus, I've been in tons of matches where we've come back from a large 1st rd deficit. And the reverse, where we've pissed away a huge lead |
