I've seen that on tv, Circ. I would imagine that stuff would only be used for stationary objects though.

And yay for octopusses.

It is squids that change colour and their complete body shape. They can practically morph into a pebble on the sea bed with us not being able to distinguish it from the other pebbles

They have a video of a guy in front of moving traffic. The image is only slightly delayed, but it still works. There's a guy dancing in front of a TV screen as well.

Circ that x'tal stuff needs a projector and only works from one angle. The angle doesn't depend on where the camo'd guy is, but where the viewer is.
And if soldiers want to start carrying projectors into battle...

Circ, I meant that it would only make sense for it to be used on stationary objects, like camoflaging a tank.

They've been mooting this stuff for ages, something which is basically simultaneously a camera and projector, so what a camera sees on one side is projected from the other side, and vice versa.

What I find weird is that they think having an army of invisible troops and tanks is going to help the Iraq situation. Either treat the place as peacekeepers should, or stop pretending the war's over. Don't say you're peacekeepers and bring in more and more fancy, suppressive technology.
