best ever RTS. period.
just had a game with the banzai AI turned on. damn its hell of a hard btw, i find repair pads work if you use the "move" command on the pads as part of their patrol. works best with the multi pads in the TAUCP/TAUIP packs. |

I like fortifying my main base then setting up outposts of popup cannons and flac cannons in a shield shape, aimed at the enemy base. Once that's secure, I send in the fleet to build a vulcan.
Also, phoenix bombers own all. I love tearing strips out of the enemy base with like 40 of these. Has anyone ever played Startrek: Armada? I'm not such a fan of star trek but this game may be be my favorite RTS if TA isn't. I was the 'standby Nezumi' for the *UA* clan. |

I imagine I didn't get my point across in the first post, so :
YOOHOOO, WHAT CAN BE BASICALLY CONSIDERED A SEQUEL TO TOTAL ANNIHILATION IS IN THE WORKS, IT'S CALLED SUPREME COMMANDER AND IT'S BEING DONE BY THE SAME GUY BEHIND TOTAL ANNIHILATION. And it's in caps lock, so I mean business. |

For the uninitiated, Total Annihilation is hot, steamy, oily, non-stop robot-on-robot action. And nothing else. Not sure if that's the best site to link to, but what the hell. |

well cavedog is now part of atari, who want little to do with it besides the rights to the software, hence www.cavedog.com looks a little bizzare
