Yeah, but the new Halo Expansion is more than a map collection. So neither company would give it away. End discussion.
Also, it wasn't a petty insult, it was a legitimate statement of fact.

Actually it's more of Microsoft charged, you see Microsoft charged, as almost all map packs on the 360 are being made to so you have to pay them by Microsoft. Hell bungie had to make Cold Storage only playable in matchmaking with the legendary map pack because they had to make a deal with Microsoft. Valve does it for free because it's through their own distribution system.

But as Etzell said its about expansions not map packs.
