I would love to know exactly what it is that makes the body react like that though, could just be because I'm a huge nerd when it comes to medical stuff.

Then when the army first rolls through, they see a covoy taking civilians out and they're like .... maybe later. Really frustrating.

Well, in this movie at least, you weren't supposed to. It was supposed to put you in the shoes of the people on screen and realistically, they wouldn't know. Which makes it scarier. The army apparantly didn't know what happened either, just that whatever it was would happen if she was bitten. The style of the movie is good. The camera work is interesting. The nerd stuff I went all over were all the hidden cuts as I said earlier. The shaky cam was used well to hide stuff like that. Think about it, all you gotta do is pan quickly to a wall and stop the camera then yell cut. Reset your stages appropriately, then stick that camera right where you cut and pan back to the action. You delete to two or three frames of stillness and on screen it just looks like some dude can't wave a camera around. That's the kind of stuff that I think is cool. The director has promise, clearly, just needs to lay off the other bull shit which I'm mentioned to death already. (I'll spare you the read at this point I'm sure you're all quite bored of reading it) |
