Your experience with the community also depends on the server and faction. You get much more serious players on RP-PvP servers, and I'm saying that from experience. Barrens is barrens, it's about as far as some kiddies get, otherwise it's just plain entertainment to yell something to piss them off.

Regarding PvP griefers, there are plenty of level 70s that love to get back at griefers, and multiple times I've partied up with people to get rid of them.

Also, let's not forget the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King expansion that will give them even more money as well.

i dont have burning crusade, but how does it benefit me until i complete vanilla WoW anyway?

Unless you want to do Jewelcrafting or Engineering, you don't need BC until you are level 58.

Anyway, I've got a lvl 70 Night Elf Mohawk...er, warrior on Malygos (PVE) and a 63 Warlock. And among my other alts, I have a lvl 19 twinker. About the only level that WSG is fun.

I enjoy the raiding. The PVP can piss you off...a lot. But overall I'm an addict.

Depends on how bad you want a blood elf or draenie. You don't need BC for engineering...

Now you guys have given me the "WoW Itch". I went and watched the Wrath of the Lich King trailer...and now I wanna get to 70 before it comes out so I can do all that...

We should all get on a server and start from scratch, Fortress Forever WoW Guild anyone?

The new starting areas for the new races are about 1000x less annoying to level a new character in. But otherwise, yeah, you don't really benefit until lvl 58. Of course, once you do get a high-level character, you basically must get BC unless you decide to quit.

And easy to get into. I tried L2 but just couldn't keep going with it.

Double post, but Halo sucks. The campaign sucks. The multiplayer sucks. I quit halfway through the campaign because it was boring and slow. Only benefit is co-op, which is fun with a buddy.

Heed, Engineering is an ability in the original WoW... only Jewelcrafting was added on.

I just started up back on Deathknell.cc and am probably going to roll with my friends again, just for fun. No huge guilds this time...
