I replied that FF is, objectively speaking, a faster game, but I didn't want to be an ass and say something like "yeah um, you doubt that, so check the half-dozen links I posted and be proven wrong," or something that conveys that passive aggressive message. The last thing I want people to think is that we're trolling them or something, when in reality we're just spreading the Gospel.

GS thread, chances are, will get locked by the end of the day if that guy doesn't give up. The mods there are fair, but they tend to lock threads that get out of hand before they escalate into a 200-post flame war.

It's obvious by this point the guy is just angry for no discernible reason other than this game is free and has a very high skill ceiling and is different from some of the other mainstream, expensive, big budget shooters that are saturating the market today.

Regardless, he's bumping our thread to the top every time he posts, so even more people see it, and unlike him, a number of people appreciated the OP. Unlike him, they could make do without one sentence of "hey guys, neat game, needs moar people, check it out, kthx."
