Clearly Valve see FF as a threat and have input into the projected dates of Fortress Forever and they hold their heads high.

Now we just go for some out of context quoting to support our conspiracy...

Clearly this means that Valve like FF's work and are just waiting for the FF team to complete the mod and then they'll just change the projected date and seize the assets.
