OLD School MTF Players around still?

vanilla MegaTF (IE the original that you know) isn't really played in pubs anymore. However there's been a recent resurgence of mtf league activity and you can usually find a couple pugs or quads scheduled if you go on the irc channel (GameSurge.net #MegaTeamFortress). Public mtf server usually run my mod, MTF United (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Team_Fortress#Evolution) which can be played on one of 2 servers:

just read your post and hell yes I was a big MTF player. I remember the days of Mplayer and oldschool gamespy. We need a remake of: Original Hunted (the one with the base and the hil and valley...sickness). And my favorite: Border. Anyway...sorry if my response is a little all-over...a few bingers deep. peace peoples.

*edit* and there was some bad assed map with a chinook that would fly between 2 jungle forts...those were nasty sniper days. But anyway...send me a pm or mail if anyone wants to get an old-school group going or for anything else.
