How does Rockbox compare to iPod Linux?
What does it really buy you besides not having to use iTunes? |

i havent used ipod linux, so i cant say.
besides not having to use itunes (which was enough to sell me), rockbox allows you to play a whole heap of different audio formats (flac, ape, wav, etc). you are given a lot more control to the audio playback (EQ, crossfades, etc), and there are a bunch of different themes to use. check out this link for a bit more info on it |
