lol, I have these cheap shitty headphones I bought from Tesco for £5 and it came with 3 sets of earpieces for different sizes and I've used them for a year. Lost half the earpieces so I have a medium one on the right and a small one on the left, and the only problem I've ever had with them is that I keep getting headaches.

Wait, that's just because I'm a retard and I put music on really loud when I'm bored.

I risked purchasing the Roccat as I fancied the 5.1 instead of standard Stereo. Let's hope they're not a bag of shit. Apparently the white noise or whatever is when nothing is being played. (my Turtle beach did that). Hopefully they won't be a mistake. I'll send them back if I'm disappointed.

As for the static, there is some if there is no sounds going on whatsoever. I don't mean you have static noise when your in a quite part in a level, you only get it if there is no sound being made on your PC. And if you have no sound being made... then its time to take the headphones off

They're strange. Your ears actually go inside the cans. There is indeed some sort of sound when nothing is playing. Imagine putting speakers inside two seashells and strapping them to your head...that's what they feel and sound like...almost claustrophobic. It's a relief to take them off.

Decided just to pick the Turtle Beach X12s. £34.31. I was satisfied with the x11s so they'll do...

I'll go uber fancy when I need new ones on my next rig with a nice sound card.
