Best TFC map in my book, but please make the initial walk from the gates less of a trek! The map's second cap and middle point is magic its just the last cap (near spawn) its so far away! Will it be made less far away?

NOTE insurgancy released it's textures and such under creative commens so use them and credit their team accordingly and save yourself the time Its the same theme and really high quality. ( http://www.insmod.net/ )

If you didn't need any more reason to finish... so long as warpath is proven user-friendly (READ: signs! Don't forget the fucking signs!) it will immediately replace ff_cornfield Night Fight's AvD/IaD night.

Like, seriously. Monday, warpath done. Tuesday, gtfo Cornfield.

No disrespect to the corns and its maker, but I'm trying to keep off of dev maps for Night Fights so the mapping community gets their work played.

imo warpath is exactly the kind of map FF needs. fun to play on pubs, good laughs, possible to play very fast or very slow (depends on amount of scouts / hw /engis). one of the best pub maps ever imo. noobs get the point really fast on this map as well.

Keep up the good work mate, looking nice so far!

Chiming in to say warpath is indeed a great map, pubbies can enjoy and clan / skilled players can attempt to run the gauntlet of 10 man defences, someone release it now

Well you could always learn how to map? Then you could be part of the solution. If thats all it would take is a couple maps I think it would have been done a long time ago.

Can you give me some good tutorials?
My english is very bad and thatswhy its hard to map for me some time i cant even read what the tutorials say. I just want to know how to Port a map and how to start from nothing to make a recent map. Meaby i can add some cool maps to the community

An update is coming real soon I promise. It's fully playable but I want it to be purty too. Which it is, but well....update soon!

Don't worry about glamouring it up too much, we don't want to see it become unplayable with high numbers because of fps issues and such.

I know this is for "the other game", but it's only a week or so away from a fpsb debut. Once that's past, I don't think I'd mind giving the geometry over to someone here to convert for FF. I'd do it myself, but I can't be arsed with the LUA stuff.

It's not a tfc warpath clone, but each of the CP areas do connect to the neighbouring areas just the same way as the original does.

Very cool man. I do play TF2 ( :O ) and I do enjoy playing their version of warpath (cp_warpath2), though it's layout was designed for a more TFC/FF type game and doesn't play as well in TF2, so I'll look forward to giving yours a shot!
