The quick way would be to make a cone, and clip it down to size then put all the vertices on grid lines and make it a func_detail, but the best way would just be to use a displacement.
You way works and makes nice brushes that won't get nudged around, but the edges kinda don't line up. Like they're not all parallel or converging on a point, which looks odd to me. |
