Yep, I've read/heard tons about it, and I can't wait to purchase my own.

Very nice! How often do you actually shoot? I'm also curious how cooperative PA is with 2nd Amendment stuff?

I have a Ruger Mark III Target edition that I just replaced as it was one of the weapons stolen from me in September. One of my favorite plinkers.

I have serious fascination with guns. Back in 2011, I was my father's assistant in his gunshop he had in North Carolina before he sold it. While I was helping him with internet sales and marketing I also picked up/touched/cleaned/learned about a few guns. Like the H&K 91 or something of that sort, old and rare revolvers, double barrel shotguns, a few 1911s, S&M 500

But I never actually shot anything more than shitty .22 bolt action rifle my father let me shoot on my 19th birthday.

I understand if he thinks I haven't got much experience so I'd start from the bottom, but one day I hope to buy some guns with actually recoil and try shooting at a gun range. My dream gun is to own one of those S&M revolvers. I fucking love revolvers.

I'm afraid not, firearms are illegal here and can be punishable by death if caught in procession of firearms.
But I would like to have a Deagle though.

S&M or S&W? I'm guessing S&W (Smith & Wesson) as S&M brings to mind a different sort of weapon...

Innoc was right, this was going off topic.

Made a new thread here for Sandy Hook Elementary.

http://forums.fortress-forever.com/s...t=23701&page=2

Anyway to contribute to this thread, I work with Paintball pistols and markers, that's the closes I ever been to a gun.

I think all weapons should be legal to use, with the right license. I want an assault rifle, not to shoot animals, but to shoot humans. Why? Because when those 1.6 billion rounds of hollow point ammunition our government purchased not too long ago starts being used by our military/police forces on our own people, I'd much rather bring a semi-automatic rifle to a fully automatic rifle fight than have a damn pistol or a non-automatic rifle.

With that said, I don't own a gun and probably will never own one unless something drastic like that happens. I think this country focuses way too much on guns. This whole Sandy Hook Elementary shooting just got all the gun people even more crazy about buying guns and now places like Walmart are sold out of semi-autos and ammo clips in a lot of places.

I don't believe in shooting animals for sport either, but I don't think it should be illegal to do so.

Isn't it odd that in China on the same day as the Sandy Hook shooting, a man stabbed a bunch of people? Not quite putting my tin foil hat on, but it definitely made me raise an eyebrow. Didn't something similar happen around the time of another school shooting some years ago?

All of my pistols, until recently, have taken a fair bit of range time before I was comfortably and consistently shooting close groups. The Springfield XD(M) I bought recently as well as a Kimber 1911 I shot recently changed my view of that. Both of them lined up exactly as I'd expect and I'm able to very quickly establish with tight groups. I have nearly 4 decades of shooting under my belt and I've never had anything like that. I suspect the work that goes into creating a match-grade weapon is part of the mix.

I've heard nothing of defects and frankly my first experience was a loan from the rangemaster at 7 yards. That one experience was very impressive and enough to build interest in picking one up. Kimber is definitely not cheap and there seems to be a pride in engineering from what I see. If you know someone that has one you can try or there is a range nearby that rents them I'd encourage you to check it out.
