I am going to push(no pun intended) for ff_2fort to at least be TRIED for a league match. It's not as closed in as the tfc version, nor is it at easy to defend in a 6v6 situation. Good O players can and will get past a good D. It's inevitable.

well i wanted to have 6 for some map 5v for others but people were complaining that they couldn't do it

Poll was already done about 2fort, blis_2fort won.

Poll was already made about making 6v6 for SOME maps (and even making the league 6v6 altogether), 5v5 and 5v5 ONLY won.

There's nothing to discuss.

Just because the polls didn't go your way doesn't mean that they need to be opened again. Besides, the vote about changing the league size has already been done many times, we clearly don't want 6v6.

Also...UGC will not always be the only league out there. EGL and probably STA/TFL might open someday again, so there will be other options and rules out there. So don't get all pissed off about it, options will exist in matter of time.

No one is forcing you to participate in competative play. It's an option of the game.

The new 2fort is fairly lame. You will get stuck on the roof going down the hallway, there's a bag in the spiral...

It's just awful. It is not laid out right.

Blis on the other hand is layed out perfectly and allows player skill to really shine. It's a real DM map.

Technically, not all the leaders voted for blis 2fort, it was almost a tie, and there are at least 4 more votes that were unheard. Yeah, there's a fucking time limit on the forum polls, but honestly, who gives a damn? You and your awesome clan afraid to be beaten on the new 2fort? ^_^

I vote that the poll be redone considering a lot of people are interested in this new 2fort, one that gives the option of either map, or a 3rd option to have both maps in play this season.

Besides, the new 2fort had only been played by a few of the leaders who just so happened to beta test it. I say give the poll a couple weeks and let each clan decide on what they want to do.

In all honesty, if I didn't know a lot of the people, reading the posts in this forum would drive me away if anything.

Plus I don't understand this crying about narrow hallways, and how blis_2fort uses more skill for offense. It's harder (but not impossible) to keep your speed up through narrow corridors with things to get stuck on, not easier. It takes more skill, not less.

Gator, those posts were in no way a dig at you or the fellas; there are a lot of people (and clans) who are guilty of what is going on and are doing MUCH less to help the community. The problem is people take themselves and this game way too seriously, and it's amplified because of the size of the community. Even the professional CS players who I have met that are on salaries spend less time squabbling, whining, and trash talking. Even they seem much more laid back than the FF clan community.

See I think we should just add it for the sake of not having to play maps over. The bags are usable by both teams but I'm sure we could come up with a .lua to disable the bags if it's a big issue.

But then again it was made for official release so probably to pub friendly of a map.

Either way it's not worth fighting and arguing over.

This is the precise reason I want this looked into. How can you vote for or against a map that hadn't been released yet? I think it should be played once. THEN let the people who played it decide if it's good enough for league play. Are you afraid to try it? If so, why?

Edit: I would like to play in the match AE is involved in, and if I honestly believe it doesn't belong in league play, I'll say so.
