Plus the video is bound by the state of the game. Considering we didn't have a server up for a couple of weeks due to the SDK update, it's fair to say that we've lost a bit of ground on getting footage, so Beefy can't finish the video until he has the necessary material (unless you like empty flythroughs).

Just wondering, did the FF team have any idea how far along TF2 was? I never even thought it was anywhere near as developed as the vids showed. Before I never really thought FF had any competition but with the latest valve video its apparent that they have some serious competition. It just feels they were blindsided by it

Since we're laying it all out there, yeah I'm really excited about getting this video out to you. We would've had it out about 2 weeks ago, but as Defrag says, we were without a server.

We're doing a playtest this Sunday, and then I'll need to comb through everybody's demos, select shots, smoothe them, turn them into movies and then edit it. That's it. Oh, and the compress several formats and post them and share the news.

That's how long it's going to take.
Oh, and I work very long hours at work, and have a wife and dogs and a kitchen renovation where we're pulling out our granite countertops for the second time due to shoddy materials.

Yup. that's the status of the video.
It's got a kick ass custom music track by your new hero Leonard Burton... you can't wait to hear it.

Any PM I get asking me how far it is coming along adds one (1) day to your wait time.
