What exactly is the point of disguising if you can cloak? Is using a disguise better for going through an enemy base?

The faster you move the more visible you are, though it still takes a sharp eye to spot you. The main drawback of cloaking is that SGs can spot cloakers -- even if you're disguised. You can change disguises while cloaked, though.
