I think he means that they are too soft that he would like to see more /\/\ kind of walls :P Pointy, jagged or what ever you want to call it.

Could you edit the sand texture's vmt to have some grass sprites on it. Would look awsome you know.

This is looking sweet, my only complaint would be that the flagroom seems to be like in the original - a spampit. I'm not sure what needs to be changed, perhaps getting rid of the ladder and making the bottom the same level as the lower entrance would help. (I believe this was discussed in an earlier version of this map?)

Lookin' good, can't wait to IC jump into the flag pit and cause other pyro mayhem throughout the base. I like the brown sandy texture more than the elephant skin ones. I agree the cliffsides need a little more variation along the top.

Indeed. The ladder slows down the enemy team.

Btw add the fan to the top :P It was fun to hide there

If I were you I'd still make those spaces a lot bigger and wide open. It's too crowded, also putting in dead trees and desert plants might help decorate the place up.

It's not like it's a high capping map at the moment, this relatively small change would make it too easy? Even if you grab the flag you usually don't get it anywhere because the pipes / random spam kills you before you get up the ladder. And you can't throw it anywhere useful from the pit floor. Boring as hell on offence.

When I was running a TFC server, I used -ripent to remove health/armour and greatly reduce the ammo in the two FR bags... helped balance the map somewhat. On a pub server two average skilled soldiers can lock down the FR by humping those bags.

i'm reskinning the textures on the wasteland rock models., some of them here en there whould do a lot !

yeah, should fix another problem, if you jump down now (in hl2sp) you get hurt, but its the exact size like in the original :s

fan is left out for the moment, i'm going to replace it with a prop, when i've found out how to create(3dsmax) and compile models

3d skybox will only have a big effect when conc jumping , (you can jump from the one canyon to the other one for the moment)(no clip there)

and no i havent used evn_lightglow only env_sprite, and the top of the pipes, ... what you see there is the sun

last screens have more variation

and eh gras sprites, i've had it on an earlear version, but i don't know what the line was to add it

I noticed that all the rocks in the screenshot seemed to end abrubtly at a certain height, maybe you could vary the hight a bit or add some more detail onto the top?

7. Flagroom looks good, but: Where's the ladder for the other ledge (on the right)? It had one, didn't it? Also, I don't think that railing on the left ledge is a good idea. And the room as a whole seems sorta dark.

In the original the flag spawned at the bottom and you had to climb the ladder before throwing it. You can now throw it as soon as you touch it.
