This is beautifull........
Bummy, You are really discourging others from their mapping when everyone takes a detailed look at yours. I do think that this map should go into the beta testing once it is down since the FF release is being held back due to maps not being comopleted. If you can get yours finished in time I am sure that this can be one of the first ones to roll out with the mod.
Practice makes perfect my kind gents. Keep on mapping and with enough dedication and skill you as well will be able to map like this someday. DH |

Thanks for all the lovely comments! I have all the different areas in now, what remains is final lighting, texturing, 3d skybox etc. The only actual mapping left to do is a couple of respawn rooms, easy as. Then once I have the FF FGD I will be very close to release!
Hopefully more updates soon. |

Not sure if Im first one to thank about the bevel arches tutorial, but here it is anyway. You are lifesaver. No more fucked up curves for me.
And about the last imageupdate: Looks more blocky than other parts. Not that it's bad or anything, just cant help noticing. Happy new Yarrrrzzz! |

Wow good to see someone getting some use out of my bevelling tut Its simple but I feel it helps you to understand how to keep valid objects when you're going nuts with the Vertex manipulation.

As Donny said, that part needs a lot of work. The rest of the map has some nice curves and shit, but that part looks too HL1ish (talking about the architecture of the structure).
