No, they shouldn't be reminiscent of the old TFC models, they need to be for FF. There may be similarities, but I believe their current idea is to make what fits the part, not what used to be.

Well, they are based on the old tfc models and they're looking good so far. Who cares what should and what shouldn't.

Yeah, to me soldier and demoman look just fine. They resemble their old counterparts but look fresh at the same time. Medic, on the other hand, would use some more depth you know. I'm looking forward to see a shot or two of the big guy, who is yet to be brought in-game?

Hi Jesse,
Quick question, seeing how the pyro is running around and it looks playable and all: does it still suck? I mean, if you are playing against the soldier and demo in the other screen shot, can you do anything other then spam napalms and and yell "LOlzolz Im da pyro!! Feeer Me!" |

To be honest here, i was a bit annoyed when i saw that jesse leaked the image of the pyro. I skinned it/am skinning it and there are alot of issues relating to the texture and things i havnt fixed up yet, that combined with some animation issues distorting the model and the texture combined with the not up to par normal map makes it look bad.
I/We appriciate the positive feedback on the model but keep in mind that its extremely work in progress and there are numerous issues beeing delt with on it, ranging from lack of creasing to the overall colour and detail.

Forgive him decs. His intentions were good. His heart is pure. And the pyro looks swell (even unfinished), so I can't wait to see what the finished work is like. I doubt we would have ever had the chance to see the 'transitional' stages were it not for leaks.

Agreed. I challenge anyone to make a sincerely negative comment about the pyro, or any of the media we've seen for that matter.
