Im not sure it is possible to do so it will appear like normal gameplay if that makes sence, dystopial has static model when u remotely control doing all this not actual players so it may not be implimentable. Although if people can create space sims with the sdk im sure its possible. |

I heard some time ago that Source supposedly supported "gravity bubbles" where you could do that kind of stuff. I'm guessing the feature was dropped ?

If it was just like you had on "magnetic boots" and couldn't come up off the ground I think it'd be cool but if not it would totally fuck up conc'ing and rocket jumping and everything where you're not touching the ground ha.

I think the Hidden can walk on all surfaces or something, but don't quote me on that.
Thing about a map with maybe a mobius strip in it. There are some really freaky things that you could do that would make things very interesting (like a flagroom on the inside of a sphere - mentioned by someone on the Cats thread). |

Hope someone gets something like this worked out! I think it definitely would make room for some very creative maps with all kinds of new possibilities!

Rip it from the more recent Ratchet and Clank games, where they have tiny tiny worlds you can walk all the way around. You can jump around them, as well. It's really interesting.

Or like that F-Zero 64 map with the curvy pipe thing you could drive around the outside of.
Damn I wanna play Prey though. |

I want Descent style portals so you can seamlessly link any part of a map with any other part (Which, incedentally, I think Prey is going to have).
I'd make a map where there's a courtyard surrounded on all sides by red base, and a big doorway in the middle. If you walk through the door from either side you wind up in a blue version of the courtyard. |

would there be a way of doing what nezimi said by creating a sort of camera feed to the "door", but infront of the actual screen was a teleporter to the other side of the base?

plz incorporate this! Actually let me rephrase that: incorporate it in the second release of this mod...
This is the kind of thing that could add a whole new dimension to gameplay. |

Teleporters don't work in source.
