Bored.
Just wondering how easy you guys loose intrest in a map.
I've been working on my latest for 3 weeks now. I've just recently retextured the whole thing and now i get compile errors. The maps looking gorgeous but this has put me off so much. I really can't be arsed to spend hours finding what causing these errors. I guess i just need to give it a break for a week then i'll have some enthusiasm to carry on. Just remembered i owe you guys some screenshots, but i can't be bothered. |

Yeah, post the log.
And as a programmer, I can tell you that with making maps and making programs its always the same. More than 50% of the work done is tweaks and debugging, the rest is spent writing code or laying out geometry and adding props. |

I indeed spend at least half of my time with hammer open working on a map that's 98% done.

i tend to just open hammer, make a brush, delete it. make another, delete it. make another, delete it. until eventually i have THE PERFECT BRUSH. then i make some more. then i delete all of them and start from the beginning again.
