Uberness
Hi guys i just found about this mod today (yeah yeah bloody slow i know) and am salivating at the thought... Finally TFC reborn woohoo!!
I haven't actually played TFC for about 2 years but nothing else e.g DOD, CS and there source versions has ever made me want to become the best player i can as TFC did when i first played it back in 99.. anyways much praise to the dev team.. and the users of this forum, its great to see the TF/TFC/FF communtity alive and well. Bring on FF!! |

Before you get your hopes up, this is NOT TFC on Source. It pulls a great deal from TFC, yes, but there's a fair bit of new stuff and plenty of stuff pulled from prior TF mods as well.
Too many people start thinking this is just TFC on Source and get very disappointed with where things are doing, and end up getting flamed to death. So, don't let that happen to you. Be ready for some changes. That said, welcome.

Cheers mate,
I'll keep that in mind but even with major changes from what i've read the core idea/gameplay will be similar... i guess we'll just have to wait and see. |

Also, this is why I hope this mod will actually do succeed in gaining some popularity unlike the other attempts (yes, q3f, etc... . |

Subconciously replace "a great deal" with "mostly."

you guys are getting too paranoid about ppl associating ff with tfc. it IS primarily influenced by TFC. Telling people that it won't be like TFC is a bad thing. Sure, there will be a few balancing differences, some updated movement methods, and a few new skills/abilities for certain classes, but in my opinion 80-90% of the core of ff is similar to TFC. Don't give people the wrong impression.
