I'm a liberal, I'm proud to be a liberal, and that's that. It means giving a shit about our fellow citizens, and giving a shit about our country and our world's future. And it means calling our leaders on their lies.

FYI, as far as I can see caring about your fellow citizens has nothing to do with liberal or conservative. Nor does caring about the country or the future lend itself more to one bias or the other...oh, and when a leader lies...that's not part of bias either. Conservatives and Liberals focus on different things at times. But to try to imply that one cares and the other doesn't is pure ignorance and blind bias. |

I agree, and I don't have a problem with conservatives as a whole. To be honest, I am pretty conservative on certain issues like limiting abortion. There seem to be a lot of extremists in charge right now, though, and a lot of people who refuse to see any of the bad that's going on in this country or in Iraq.
Anyway, I really don't want to argue, I'm already too stressed as it is to be going off about this stuff. |

agreed Jinx...for the record...I, honestly, don't see Bush as an Extremist...he has very few areas where he is conservative... The elected people spend money freely. Each party has different ways they "prioritize" it but they all spend madly. It's a pity that we cannot make them suffer when they overspend and rape our bank accounts for more.
