To Obsession UK server owner

Is it me, or the downloading of maps from these servers takes too long?

fast url download now disabled due to my host wanting £70 pa just to store maps, I refused on principal so maps have to be downloaded from the server and not website.

No way I can speed up the rate as far as I know, nothing in server.cfg
I would of looked for a new host but since hardly anyone plays ff I don't see much point yet.
