In truth celebrating xmas has nothing to do with religion ( Christians don't want to hear this ) , it is in fact marking the Sun starting to make it's way back up in the north hemisphere of our inherited planet.

25th December the Sun rises 1 degree higher in the sky than it did on the 22/23/24 ( those 3 dates rises in the sky on the same degree ).

Anyways I like your sarcasm but I wanted to say the above because there are much better drugs than than those that work on the opiate receptors :P

I am now expecting many users to find this post helpful

Oh for sure, opiates are probably my least favorite class of chemicals.

But the quote was from Karl Marx which was the extent of the scope of my post.

Ahhh not heard that before, but it did sound quote like, and a very good one, although accurate it should of mentioned something about enslavement of the mind too.
