Remake of Dustbowl
Just want to announce that Im working on a Dustbowl remake. The map is about 10% done right now (but not screenshot-done yet). I will get some screens as soon as I add some more detail to the level.
Just wondering, are the FF team making a Dustbowl map? Just want to make sure if im wasting my time or not. |

Dustbowl is one of the planned maps to be released with the first version of FF...
Sit tight for a little while longer, you anxious mappers... you rock, but our initial release list will be out VERY soon.

After steam was released I never played the new dustbowl. What all was changed? I remember reading about it but I don't remember what exactly it was.

They made changes to the 2nd section.
2 exits instead of one for Blues, and the tunnel on a timer leads directly up and connects to the balcony area round where the 2 bags are. |

I think the "Distance moved with flag" scoring idea mentioned in one of the other threads would be good for maps like dustbowl and avanti, along with a capture bonus.

rebo's suggestion on the halflife2.net forums was a good one I think - with the work that you've done so far, I bet you could turn it into a great, different map
