Any other tabletop role-players hereabouts?

I'm getting back into the hobby with some friends very soon -- we played a hell of a lot of Dungeons & Dragons a few years ago, but life got too busy and we didn't have the time. Now that senior year is winding down, we're cracking out our 'ol dusty tomes, stocking up on junk food, and are preparing to venture forth into the realm of collective storytelling once more.

How about you folks? Have you ever expressed interest in this hobby? Does it look even remotely appealing, or just not your thing? Any experiences with it? Any other tabletop RP'ers that play FF?

I was just playing a campaign with 4 other friends. For some reason our DM is going to scrape that campaign, and we're going to start another one next month. But it's been a lot of fun.

DnD and other table tops can kind of get a bad rap, but it really just depends on who you play it with, and how creative you are.

Do you specifically play Dungeons & Dragons/Pathfinder, or do you use some other tabletop system?

We grew sick of the 800+ pages needed to play some of the heftier (but oh so beautiful) games but loved the d20 system.

Last time I played was probably 7-8 years ago. From what I remember, one of the players was a demigod that wanted all of the townsfolk to worship him, so I burned the kingdom down.

I've only played DnD. We do a lot of rape and pillaging.

We used to play DnD and Cyberpunk 2020 like 8+ years ago with group of 4+GM, oh good old times

I think we still have that mountain of books+all the self printed/written stuff somewhere and even think about setting up little campaign for the memories
