saw this last year and was very skeptical, especially with how quiet they were. Now that i see that this is legit, i cant fucking wait!!
I wonder how displacements could work with such technology? This will absolutely revolutionize the gaming industry.

wow very nice. I just wonder how it will handle when all those atoms are moving, such as a player moving, or blades of grass with the wind, etc.

Apparently this type of rendering might have extreme difficulty with animation. Notice how nothing at all is animated in the video.

There's a reason everything is made of repeated identical meshes, and not animated. They are showing it under the best possible conditions.
