Lag issues on any server I join

Just wondering if anyone is aware of this. It doesn't matter what server I join, I get horrible lag if there's about 8+ people in the server. My choke goes through the roof, hitting 50+ sometimes.

I've talked to other people and apparently they're having the same problems as me. Is this an issue with the new patch?

have u tried tweaking with rate (and cmd/update) settings?

i think ive found a false way to fix it, but heres what it is;
i was too having so much choke until i raised my rate to 50k. and my choke went down to 0 again, but then i started having a bit of loss (between 1-10). not sure if this was helpful

coz my connection is definately not that good to support 40k rate, it should be something else.

ff is sometimes too hard to configure well. ive pld it on 4 different pcs and all gave different reactions to similar settings, on similar connections.

now i have adjusted the heapsize and it felt a little relief to the game. i guess when im done tweaking rate settings now things will be fine.
