Why not something like a dispensing gun, shaped like a clunky pistol with an inline or attached transparent tube of some coloured liquid. Pull the trigger and "hssssst" to deliver the kill or cure.

How about removing the medic completely? The deranged deathmatch-chaser people would have to find another class.

Yes returner, we're going to alter the game-play, type, feel and style because of a few people who abuse the medpack. (and should be shot)
That's why I like the idea of good server admins, cause abuse is always going to lie upon the server. In other words, if you're trying to play a game and some jerk isn't playing fair your solution is simple: Don't play with him. It sounds childish, but changing servers or getting an admin involved is the best solution. Or do what I do, chase the medic SOB down and suicide grenade, he dies, and gets no credit for his cheap, unskilled kill |

plus, what if you are getting injected and the med gets moved & the needle breaks in your arm?
then you would get some sort of metal poisoning |

Just a medkit
A syringe is too small, and it would look stupid when an enemy medic was running at you and you can barely see what he's holding. Atleast with the medkit it's seeable |
