Portal 2
So what's the verdict? Is it worth the $50-$60?

Probably not. I know it's getting force fed to everyone via blitz-advertising... but I can't justify that kind of money on a game.
Well, not unless it's a rarity 9 Atari cart, anyway.

I've really enjoyed it. I was surprised at how much they've changed since the first one, and how good the game is at making me feel like a complete moron when I can't figure something out, and then how good I feel when I DO get it.
I think it's worth the money, but I can understand how it wouldn't be to some. |

I enjoyed it too. Didn't cost me anything because my daughter got it for me for my birthday. Final cost was only $35 too.

I'd buy it for $35 or $40, but I doin't like paying $50 or $60 for games unless I know I'll get an assload of playtime out of it.
Like Borderlands or Fallout 3... If I had any less willpower, I'd be making up for two extra semesters of classes, heh. |

There was a promo I read about last year that if you bought a specific PS3 version, you would get a free PC copy for Steam. But since the PSN is croaked, and I don't know anyone that would play it on PS3 anyways, I just said fuggit and got the PC version.

i liked coop campaign, but it is because there are too many levels to play unlike portal 1 or any other coop HL mod.
i had ended up with installing hundreds of user-made levels when portal 1 was done (i think p1 was too short) and most of them were gay. so yeah its worth to pay a 25-30 usd, eventhough i pirated it |
