Embarq/Century Link Internet

is it me or is embarq/cl internet just a whole lot of bullcrap?

I'm supposed to be on a 1.5 mbps connection, but most of the time it's slower than dial up inet. sometimes it's even completely down.

phoned them a few times but I have to call myself lucky when I catch somebody that actually knows what a router is.

anyone having similar problems with them? are they well known as a shitty provider?
