You only receive the Humble Indie Bundle #1 if your price for #2 was higher than the average price paid, according to the wikipedia entry ($7.80 at the moment).
I bought the Humble Indie Bundle last time round (I still have the download link), and I had three of the games from Humble Indie Bundle #2 prior to purchase (I chose to pay $20 for #2).
