HTC Evo Manual Camera Focus?
HTC Evo has an autofocus feature on its camera, but when I'm taking a picutre and it's done focusing, sometimes it doesn't focus as sharp as it could. While it is focusing, there are moments when the autofocus will have focused perfectly but it keeps focusing past that point until it's a bit blurry again.
I looked through ALL the settings and couldn't figure it out... Is there a way to manually focus the camera other than physically moving the camera forward or backwards??? I tried pressing on the screen and that lets me manually set the location the camera autofocuses on, but I want to be able to manually change the focus on my phone's camera. Are there any apps, hacks or settings to accomplish this? Last edited by KubeDawg; 12-17-2010 at 10:18 PM. |

I've had the Droid for about a year. Never noticed a manual focus feature through any of the OS and App updates. Seems like manual focus would be a bit unwieldy given the phone form factor. Do you really think you could comfortably manage manual shot composure holding the phone Kube? I'm having trouble visualizing that operation.

Yeah, just use the multitouch capability to zoom in and out of focus. Easy.
