Beware of militant, bed-ridden grandmas
Courthouse News Service
Apparently the police thought it was OK to use force on an 86-year old grandma who was hooked up to medical equipment and was bed-ridden, and the actions of the officers were justified because she had taken an 'aggresive posture' in her bed. So naturally, they tazed her. Twice. It seems to be the case lately that calling the police is actually worse than not calling the police. I have heard dozens of stories where someone called the police needing help, but end up getting abused and tortured, and they were perfectly innocent. Turns out that she apparently wielded a kitchen knife when 10 police officers busted down her front door. Instead of disarming the situation, by... not harassing her and actually give her the medical assistance she requested, they deprived her of oxygen and tazed her. Twice. Some people see this as the metaphorical 'police state' encroaching on our rights, like it's some global capitalist conspiracy, or perhaps a more sinister behind-the-scenes cabal who are calling the shots. However, I don't see this as a global capitalist conspiracy, or the work of some behind-the-scenes cabal, I see this as the natural progression of Governments. The larger Governments get, the less rational their remedies for 'problems' become. In the past 10 years, we've seen our Government (Federal, State + Local) grow in size exponentially, and as expected, so has the fascistic tendencies of it's most visible officers to us, the Police. There are dozens of examples in the past decade of where citizens have called the police because they needed the help, only to become victims to police brutality. Something's gonna give in the next few years.

Is this shit real? Sounds like the daytime courts shows!
Woman calls for medical assistance then 10, count them 10 cops show up and taser her? Son yells "Don't tase my granny?" Seriously. Again is it evil to laugh at this....? Yes it is.

Assuming this is corrent:
El Reno police said they were forced to taser an 86-year-old El Reno woman last week who was threatening to kill herself and threatened officers with a knife. The incident occurred Dec. 22 at the Elizabeth Place Apartments, 1955 S. Shephard, said Police Chief Ken Brown. Brown said the woman's grandson telephoned police asking for help for his grandmother, who he said was threatening to overdose on medication. The chief said when officers arrived, they found the woman lying on a bed. He said when the woman saw the officers she ordered them out of her home and told them that she “wanted to die.” Brown said the woman pulled a kitchen knife and told officers “she was in control of her life.” Brown said officers then tasered the woman and took the knife.Brown said the woman was taken to Parkview Hospital where the tasers were removed and she was admitted to a mental health center Ok it's not evil to laugh http://www.elrenotribune.com/CatInde...Type=1&id=4000
