Looking for 5.1 home theater speakers [rear wireless]

I'd like to have Wireless Rear Speakers as I live in an apartment and would rather not fuck with running the wires across the ceiling/floor/under the carpet/etc.. I'd just rather not mess with it. I've already got my audio receiver picked out, and I think I might pick up a Rocketfish kit for the wireless speakers. Has anyone had any experience using Rocketfish?

Also, I'm not an audiophile by any means, so I'm not going to care if it doesn't sound super crisp and clean. However, I don't want to have problems with dropping audio and such.

Price range doesn't really matter, but I'd like to stay under $300.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I've always seen Rocketfish as the "home brand' for Best Buy (They have a deal together). Honestly I've only seen wireless speakers as a gimmick rather then an actual product... even though I'm sure they exist. I probably wouldn't go with Rocketfish because it's relationship Best Buy probably means it's probably much like Best Buy (very expensive and low quality).

Meh, well I've pretty much decided to go without a 5.1 system for the time being. Maybe once I buy a house. Till then, I'm just going to look for a decent stereo system with a sub. Ty for the help.

I am in the same boat. I decided to take my current system and mount the speakers high up on the walls. I looked up and down for a pair of wireless speakers I could use and then recommend. I can't. At least not in the range of a couple hundred bucks. I did however run into a couple of 3d effect systems that amazed me. They could work for you, especially in an apartment.

They basically work by aiming, manipulating phase, inserting channels within channels, reflecting sound of walls, and or delaying. I listened to one at Target that was pretty cool. Don't know the brand, however if interested here is the latest generation to get you searching. If you are going to get a new amp anyway and speakers maybe a little more cash will pay off big. Plus they look cool.

This one you can add on wireless speakers that match the system

It's purelly logistical working around a room design that is open on all sides. I would love to have them mounted on the wall at ear height.

I tested them before I started cutting holes. Not ideal, but not bad either. With a little boost in volume they sound decent. Definitely not as good as the speaker stands I had them on but this suits the room and it's use better.
