What the best way to record?
What is the best way to record in-game? I tried fraps but it makes me too laggie to do anything kool, and i tried recording demos but its a long process getting the footage you want.

Source Recorder is the best way, no doubt. You just need to have patience.

Ya you have to watch the game over again but its better then recording 30 to 60 minutes of video just because of the drive space needed, specially if its HD video you're recording. You could always just demo the game, then setup the video for recording, and go make lunch or supper. Watch a TV show or something if you don't care about how much space the raw video is going to take up. Or if you have a second computer and a video capture card you could out it to the second computer and capture it that way, but doing it the way I suggest would provide a better quality video I think. |

I'm pretty sure there's a few sticky threads at the top of the media section to help you on this.
