Need help with install

so basically i downloaded the two things required(path and the game) as i install i made a new folder for FF, nothing is showing up on steam or the new folder

If you're new to the game then you should download the 2.41 Full install.

For example, this one: http://www.ffpickup.com/files/2.41/F..._2.41_Full.exe

Just run the installer and install FF to your "\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods" directory. I think it auto detects where steam is installed on your PC anyway. Then restart steam and you should be good to go.

What did you download exactly, you said you downloaded 2 things(?).

yeah, you shouldn't have to create any folders for FF, the installer should do all of that for you.
