Music free of rights
Hi,
I'm looking for a place to find music that would be free of rights, for free, or very cheap. I've found places where they sell music free of rights for 50$ a song but I can't afford to pay that much. It's for use in a video presentation for a cultural event on nature. It'll be played at conferences and on the web site of the organisation. So if anyone knows of places where I could find good, free of rights music, please let me know. Thanks! |

I just wanna add that I'm not looking for cheesy music like you get on sites like http://www.royaltyfreemusic.com/ and the like.
I'm looking for bands or regroupment of artists that put out good free music. I know it exists cause I found 1 place but I need more. Cheers! Edit: Diggin deeper, what I might be looking for is maybe Creative Commons-licensed actually... ? I don't know. Last edited by Sh4x; 03-03-2010 at 07:34 PM. |

CC is probably the way to go.
But keep in mind: 95% of all "free rights" music is generally totally crap (read: kid with garage band). I know that some torrent sites (such an mininova) offer legally free music. You would have to check on what the rights are, however. |
