put a cubemap there. After you run your compile + game, type buildcubemaps in the console.

go to the texture editor and lower the lightmap from 16 to 4 on those textures

Next question--what's the best way to make seamless man-cannons? I have my ramps covered with trigger_push, and sometimes you get shot out at weird directions, sometimes you don't get the full force of the 'push'.

Well, I think what the problem is, is that I'm jumping into the corner of of the trigger brush, and therefore I'm not getting the full brunt of the push mechanic, or getting launched into an awkward direction. Would SetVelocity act differently?

SetVelocity sets your velocity instantaneously, just like a jump pad. The destroy lift also uses SetVelocity.

ouch, thats a lot of brushes
but yea ill have a thread on here with the map later, you'll see what I'm talking about, its a very simple map. Took me like 5 hours and most of that was making my first custom texture
